Entry 1; January 8, 2017

T'was the week before departure
And all through the stead
Of the Peacock home
Sierra packed on her bed.
She whistled as she sorted
Like most of us sing,
Preparing for the MTC,
"What am I missing?"

Head tilted to the side
As she contemplated.
"I have more to do,"
Sierra related.
"I know!" she exclaimed,
"I'll keep up a blog
So my friends will know
I'm not stuck in a bog."

After orders from Amazon,
And a hunt for her socks,
Nesting her scriptures
Next to the alarm clock,
Sierra sat herself down
Ready to write
Preparing for adventures
She's experience in a fortnight.

"Here's my address,
And a scripture or two, 
I'll add a photo
Of a place I'll be to.
Here's a link to a site
I'm sure they'll all like,
And then I'll bid an adieu
Ending with 'I love all of you!'
